EA Sports has launched its first "Title Update #1" for the football videogame, Madden NFL 16. Now available for the PS4 and Xbox One, the patch will fix some of the gameplay bug and stability issues that have been detrimental to the title since its official release date.
As we previously mentioned, the sports videogame introduces new controls for receivers and defenders. In addition to those new features, EA presents gamers with the ability to control their favorite players while the ball is in the air. Along with the innovative game mechanics, there will be new touchdown celebrations, including New York Giants wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr and his famous "whip-dance."
According to the official EA Sports site, the first Madden NFL 16 title update is now available. The patch includes improvements and fixes to the gameplay, Connected Franchise, Madden Ultimate Team, and more. To increase your enjoyment of the game, make sure you find out if your copy has these general bugs and stability issues.
Polygon adds that the update will be made available starting Friday, September 11, The update addresses some notable problems, such as the simulation engine generating an absurd amount of rushing attempts for pocket quarterbacks. Another issue that has been plaguing the gameplay was the players' confidence rating. When the rating eclipses 100, this will cause a short-term attribute boost.
Because the Connected Franchise problems were serious, EA Tiburon advised players not to start a Connected Franchise until after the patch was released. For the gamers that have begun the mode, you won't need to restart in order to see most of the fixes.
Don't forget to check out the trailer to Madden: The Movie, which features guest appaearances by Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Julio Jones, Rob Gronkowski, Colin Kaepernick, Antonio Brown and Rex Ryan.
