'Marvel's Agents of SHIELD' Season 3 Premiere Synopsis, Constance Zimmer's Role Revealed

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns with its Season 3 premiere on Tuesday, September 29 at 9 p.m. Eastern, and the official synopsis for that first episode has now been released. Constance Zimmer's role has also been revealed in that description. [SPOILERS to Follow]

Comic Book Movie has posted the synopsis, which you can check out below, for the episode entitled "Laws of Nature."

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns for an action-packed third season on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network, with Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Agent Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) leading the charge as S.H.I.E.L.D. searches the world for more powered people in the aftermath of their epic battle with Jiaying and her army of Inhumans," the synopsis reads. "However, Coulson and the team soon find out that they are not the only group looking for these new Inhumans. On the season premiere episode, 'Laws of Nature,' when Coulson and the team discover a new Inhuman, S.H.I.E.L.D. comes face to face with another organization searching for powered people. And still reeling from Simmons’ dramatic disappearance, Fitz goes to extreme lengths to try to learn how to get her back."

This description tracks with what we have heard about Season 3 thus far. Coulson and the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D. are still trying to track down Inhumans now that their cover has been blown, while Daisy/Skye/Quake is recruiting a crew called the Secret Warriors. We also saw Simmons vanish in the Season 2 finale when some black goo absorbed her, and it looks like Fitz is going to pull out all the stops to figure out what happened.

Also, we know Constance Zimmer will be playing a villainous role in Season 3, and the full description refers to her as Rosalind Price. There is a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent named Rosalind Solomon in the comics, but it's unlikely that this is the character Zimmer is playing in the show.
