Victoria Brink [PHOTOS]: Congressman Steve Cohen Sends Sexy Co-Ed Model Tweets During State of the Union, Actually His Daughter

During the State of the Union Address on Tuesday (Feb. 12), Congressman Steven Cohen turned some suspicious heads when he was spotted sending "flirty" tweets to a sexy, 24-year-old model right in the middle of President Obama's annual speech. But it turns out 56-year-old Cohen's mysterious social networking actions were in no way scandalous... the young blonde bombshell is in fact his daughter, Victoria Brink. Cohen later admitted that he only discovered he had a college-aged daughter about three years ago, and he had yet to come out publically with it. The Democratic senator from Tennessee was simply happy that Brink was actually watching the SOTU.

Cohen deleted the "flirtatious" tweets quickly after posting them on Tuesday, but the Sunlight Foundation's Politiwoops managed to save them before they disappeared into cyber world oblivion. After Brink tweeted Cohen (@victoria_brink) telling him that she saw him on TV during the president's speech, Cohen sent two responses:

But no - Brink is not Cohen's young secret lover. She's his daughter.

Initially, Cohen's staff covered up for the southern senator, reporting that the beautiful model was the daughter of a "longtime friend" and that she was "like family." Cohen supposedly visited her a lot because he had a serious girlfriend living in Memphis. None of Cohen's colleagues were even aware that he had a daughter. The congressman eventually came clean, admitted that he learned of Brink three years when he did a Google search on her mother. Cohen recently told NBC:

"When she let me know she was watching the State of the Union address I was thrilled that she wanted Steve Cohen to be part of her. I had such joy, that I couldn't hold back from tweeting her...[Three years ago] I Googled her mother, found out she had a child and the math looked pretty accurate. The mom told me we had a lot of catching up to do." 

NBC News correspondent Luke Russert confirmed the news, tweeting on Thursday:

Brink's biography on CollegeDozen indicates that she plans "on moving back to Beverly HIlls or Houston to pursue a career in the fashion industry and do modeling on the side." The bikini model currently lives and goes to school in Texas.
