Teresa Giudice is looking at prison as the gift horse that keeps on giving. The star might have been thrown into the slammer at the beginning of this year to serve a 15-month sentence for fraud, but the Jersey girl looks like she is going to come out from behind bars with a better life ahead of her. Not only is The Real Housewives of New Jersey star's husband Joe Giudice currently filming a special that will talk about his life with the couple's four girls while his wife has been behind bars, but it is now also being reported that Teresa will have her own role in the three-part special that will air on Bravo this October.
According to NJ.com, the series titled, The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In, will debut in less than a month on the network with a premiere date scheduled for Oct. 11.
In the Bravo clip below, fans of the series who have been missing Teresa since she has been away will get to hear the housewife, as the specials will show her "daily 'check in' calls" and will document the family's visits to the prison, according to Radar Online.
In the clip that was released to Bravo TV, viewers catch up with the family that Teresa left behind when she started her prison sentence. Some of the highlights include Joe giving advice to daughter Gia on dancing, the Gorga's and Giudices spending some quality time together, and Joe coming to terms with the possibility of his deportation.
In addition to her role on the series, Teresa is looking to cash in on her first exclusive interview after she is released from prison, to the sound of six-figures.
Radar reported that her Lawyer "has reached out to several celebrity glossy magazines along with primetime entertainment news shows to gauge interest in securing Teresa's first interview," a source explained. "She wants at least $200,000 because there are many creditors Teresa needs to pay off. The ideal situation would get competing magazines to start a bidding war pushing the number over $200,000."
