Rihanna Celebrates V-Day with Marijuana Plant, Gift From Chris Brown? [PHOTO]: Tweets 'Roses are Green! Mary Jane is my Valentine'

Did Rihanna spend a romantic Valentine's Day evening with her controversial on-and-off again beau, Chris Brown? Apparently not... the only loving RiRi got on Feb. 14 was apparently from Mary Jane (aka, weed). On Thursday, the "Stay" songstress sent out a Twitpic of a massive marijuana plant, tweeting "Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy." Hmm... so maybe Brown DID surprise his Barbadian beauty with a romantic V-Day gift... just in a very unconventional sense...

To kick off the annual "Day of Love," RiRi tweeted this message and Instagram pic:

@rihanna: "Love me...I'm #DOPE."

While some fans were amused with the post (many even agreeing that Mary Jane is the perfect companion to spend V-Day with), others found it totally inappropriate:

bexstar30: "Disgusting sick of you promoting weed as a good thing isn't it about time you grew up and realise what you do affects people!"

But Rihanna didn't stop there with the weed-themed Valentine's Day posts. Later on Thursday the songstress tweeted:

@rihanna: "Happy Valentines Day. Today the day fa lovin not hatin so to cats like you and I it's just another day..."

@rihanna: "Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy."

It remains unknown who the marijuana plant gift actually came from... Brown, a fellow blazing pal... who knows. The fact of the matter is, it looks like RiRi had more fun spending the romantic holiday with Mary Jane rather than with her main squeeze.

Reports allege that RiRi's probably in London this week, since her clothing line for River Island is set to debut during the city's Fashion Week, which begins on Friday (Feb. 15). Meanwhile, Brown has been spotted partying on the streets of L.A. (and getting heckled with "gang threats") So it doesn't look like the reunited couple (who were spotted cozying up together at the Grammys last weekend) physically spend Valentine's Day together. 

So what do Mstarz readers think... was the massive weed plant a "romantic" gift from Brown in honor of his leading "Good Girl Gone Bad?"
