The September 16, 2015 episode of WWE's NXT airs on the WWE Network and features the return of NXT Women's Champion Bayley, as well as the second round of the Dusty Rhodes Memorial Tag Team Classic Tournament. We've got the full results of the show right here, so let's get right to it.
The episode begins with Tyler Breeze vs. Adam Rose. Rose walks down to the ring and says the entire WWE universe rained on his party, so he's going to be a party pooper for them now. Before the match begins, Bull Dempsey hits the ring and tells Prince Pretty that he's going to beat the tar out of Tyler for attacking him after they lost their first-round match in the tournament last week. Breeze tells him to get lost because he has a match now. Dempsey asks Rose to leave so he can get his revenge. Rose responds by slapping him the face. Dempsey returns fire and tosses him over the top rope. Breeze capitalizes and attacks from behind, but Dempsey turns the tables. He tries to demolish Breeze, but Tyler escapes.
Breeze is backstage after the break and accepts Dempsey's challenge for a match next week.
Tye Dillinger defeats Danny Birch.
Backstage, Rhyno and Baron Corbin cut a promo to say they are going to roll over Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.
Apollo Crews defeats Solomon Crowe with a gorilla press and a standing moonsault.
Backstage, Dana Brooke and Emma say that they are fed up with their position on the outside looking in with regard to the women's division, so they're going to shake things up.
A truck pulls up in the parking lot and former NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks emerges.
Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa put up a fight against Baron Corbin and Rhyno, but the full-time NXT competitors win the match when Corbin drops Gargano with the End of Days.
Backstage, The Vaudevillians promise to win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy, who lost to the NXT Tag Team Champions last week in the tournament, show up with Alexa Bliss and say they are going to invoke their rematch clause next week.
Bayley defeats Sara Dobson with the Bayley to Belly.
After the match, the NXT Women's Champion gets on the mic, but Sasha Banks' music cuts her off before she can utter a word. Banks says she did not come out here to attack or demean the new champion. Instead, she says congratulations. Banks says all she has heard is that the two women tore the house down and stole the show at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. But that's not good enough for the Boss, who says Bayley was only better than her for three brief seconds in that match.
Bayley offers her a title match right now, but Sasha says that's not enough. The champion proposes a two-out-of-three falls match, but Sasha declines that too because she wants to beat the champion over and over and over again. At this point, General Manager William Regal comes out and says he's heard enough. At NXT Takeover: Respect, Bayley will defend the NXT Women's Championship against Sasha Banks, and two women will main event a live event for the first time. If that weren't enough, it will be a 30-minute Iron Woman Match.
