The New Jersey Devils vs. the New York Islanders battle it out on the ice at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New York on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Saturday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
The Devils head into Saturday night's game as the no 1 team in the NHL Eastern Atlantic Conference. NJ snags the overall no 6 spot in the division, with a 9-2-3 record. According to ESPN sports columnist Pierre LeBrun, "A home-and-home sweep of the Pittsburgh Penguins is the perfect way to inform the world that the 2012 Stanley Cup finalists can contend despite the loss of Zach Parise. Pete DeBoer for the Jack Adams? He's my pick right now."
The Islanders snag the no 5 spot in the NHL Eastern Atlantic Conference, and the no 25 overall spot with a 5-7-1 record (out of 30 teams). As LeBrun points out, "Four straight losses for the struggling Isles, although they deserved a better fate Saturday, when they outshot the Sabres 43-15. The power play is 0-for-22 in the past four games."
Both tri-state teams have faced-off three times already this season: Jan 19 - NJD(2)-NYI(1), Jan 31 - NYI(5)-NJD(4)(OT), and Feb 3 - NJD(3)-NYI(0).
The game will be broadcasted live on MSG Plus, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WFAN 660 and 88.7 WRHU.
