Kate Gosselin Split - Ex Husband Jon's Emoji Comment Not Related to Jeff Prescott Breakup

Kate Gosselin might be heartbroken over her split from millionaire boyfriend, Jeff Prescott, but is her former lover Jon Gosselin actually happy that his ex-wife is no longer with Prescott? It was being reported that a comment that Gosselin posted on his social media, where he added a thumbs praising hands emoji, could have actually been in regards to the news that his ex and Prescott called their relationship off. However, the former star of Jon and Kate Plus 8 says that his comment was misconstrued.

According to Us Weekly, the star revealed that he wasn't mocking his ex's recent split with the post, adding that his mom was even wondering what all the fuss was about.

"No, my mom was like, 'What?'' he explained to the site, adding, "I was like, 'What are you talking about?'"

The star even opened up on Entertainment Tonight explaining that he would never publicly bash the mother of his eight kids on the Internet.

"I have teenage kids now who are on social media," the star explained to the site. "They read everything, and the last thing I'm going to do is trash their mother. [It's] a constant source of frustration, to see imposters post the most ridiculous things."

We previously reported that Kate has been seeing the COO and co-founder of company, Dreamstine for the last eight months. However, it seems that over Labor Day weekend, they decided to end their eight-month flirtation.

Us Weekly is even reporting that while Kate is "devastated" about the split, Prescott has moved on to someone younger and blonder. The millionaire is reportedly seeing a 26-year-old.
