Before Season 2 arrives, Warner Home Video is bringing Season One of The Flash to DVD and Blu-Ray. Relive the adventure as Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) became the scarlet speedster, with help of Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), Iris West (Candice Patton), and Joe West (Jesse L. Martin).

In our first season recap, Barry Allen (Gustin) awoke from his coma, after being struck by lightning. Given super-speed powers, Barry belonged to small group of friends, Caitlin Snow (Panabaker), and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), who know his secret identity. They worked together against super villains, including Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and teamed up with the Arrow (Stephen Amell). But they never realized their true enemy was lurking within their midst, Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh).

Here are 5 reasons why we have to get Season One of The Flash on DVD:

5) The Special Features!

We mentioned before, the special features of the DVD/ Blu-ray set of the first season will include "The Fastest Man Alive!," "Creating the Blur," "The Chemistry of Emily and Grant Screen Test, "Behind the Story: The Trickster Returns!," "DC Comics Night at Comic-Con 2014 Presenting Gotham, The Flash, Constantine and Arrow," featurettes. There will also be audio commentary, deleted scenes, and a gag reel to watch.

4) The Music!

Composer Blake Neely crafted a superhero theme for The Flash that feels as orchestral as Danny Elfman (Batman). This critic's personal favorite track is the theme at the climax at Going Rogue. During the train derailment, the Flash rescued the passengers in danger. With the choir singing in the background as Barry got everyone out safely, the music sounded miraculous.

3) The Arrow/Flash Crossover!

You can't fool me! They were playing Batman and Superman! In Flash Vs. Arrow, Stephen Amell captured the caped crusader's brooding qualities, while Gustin represented the Kyrptionian's positive and hopeful perspective. Even Harrison Wells compared the Arrow vigilante to Batman, referring to Starling City's recent terrorist attacks; thanks to Deathstroke.

2) The Prison Break Reunion!

Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) escaped prison to be super villains! In his first episode, Going Rogue, Captain Cold (Miller) made an unforgettable entrance, forcing a railroad train to derail. Then, Heat Wave (Purcell) joined the fun with Captain Cold for Revenge of the Rogues. The chemistry between was still there, which is why we're so excited for the revival of Prison Break.

1) The Trickster Returns!

The originals came back for the special episode, Tricksters! Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor Mark Hamill returned to reprise his role as Trickster. Back in the early '90s, John Wesley Shipp played the scarlet speedster himself and the Village of the Damned actor was his nemesis. The series paid tribute to the show that came before and to the Emmy-winning actor who paved the way for Gustin and Amell.

Season One ofThe Flash arrives on DVD and Blu-Ray September 22, 2015. The Flash returns for Season 2 on Tuesday, October. 6, at 8/7c.
