Amazing Race Watch Episode 1, Season 22 Premiere Recap: 'Business in the Front, Party in the Back,' Meet the Cast! [FULL EPISODE]

The highly-anticipated season 22 premiere of the "Amazing Race" aired on CBS on Sunday, Feb. 17. Ten pairs of two raced from the Griffith Observatory in L.A. to the beautiful island of Bora Bora, where they had to skydive out of a helicopter and then head to a beach covered in four hundred sandcastles in order to dig up the next clue. The hour-long premiere episode ends with three teams lagging behind, fighting to make it to the pit stop in time to avoid a potential elimination.  Read on to watch the full episode 1 and to meet the new "Amazing Race" cast!

"Amazing Race" host Phil Keoghan is back for another adventure-packed season, and he has a lively crew of competitors ready to snag the $1 million grand prize! Check it out:

Chuck and Wynona: Married for 15 years. Chuck likes to "kill the animal, eat the animal, mount the animal, and keep the memory on the wall forever" - he has a mullet.

Bates and Anthony: Brothers and professional hockey players. One of them has removable teeth.

Mona and Beth: Soccer moms from Colorado... who also play roller derby.

Max and Katie: Newlyweds (married for three weeks). Katie seems like the "boss" of the relationship.

Dave and Connor: Father and son from Utah, both cancer survivors and avid cyclists.

Jessica and John: Dating for four years from Southern California. Jessica is ready to pressure John into getting married, and $1 million might help her cause.

Idries and Jamil: Twin brothers from Chicago who are both OB/GYNs.

Pam and Winnie: Best friends from L.A. They say they have no fear and they're not looking for love, so stop looking at them that way.

Joey and Meghan: Friends and YouTube hosts (the show calls them "sensations") with over 500,000 subscribers. Loud and energetic, they'll probably start getting on the other teams' nerves soon.

Matt and Daniel: Best friends and firemen from South Carolina. Not the hunky calendar kind.

Caroline and Jennifer: Country singers from Nashville, they're both  in a band called Stealing Angels. Both blonde, they're  looking for love and they will flirt to win.

No need to give away too many spoilers until fans watch the full episode, but after two intense and exhausting roadblocks, the newlyweds, the singers, and the fireman are left fighting in canoes to make it to the finish line (after all three teams accept a four-hour penalty). Jessica and John are pronounced "Team Number One," and are handed two express Passes. They now must decide which team to form an alliance with.
