During NFL Sunday Night Football's Giants game, Odell Beckham Jr. made the touchdown highlight of the afternoon. Despite the Giants' loss against the Atlanta Falcons, OBJ definitely made it a memorable game. As reported by Fox Sports, the sophomore New York Giants receiver, Odell Beckham Jr., managed to accumulate over 100 career receptions within 16 games!
On Sunday's Giants' home opener against the Atlanta Falcons, Beckham scored his 100th career catch early in the second quarter on the third down. He then followed that catch with a 67-yard touchdown catch, taking a slant pass from quarterback Eli Manning.
So, not only did Beckham make his 101st catch of his career this weekend, but he also scored an additionally impressive touchdown! Now, unfortunately, he didn't hit us with The Whip, as he normally would, rather he took the Cristiano Ronaldo route:
You didn't really think Odell Beckham would go 2 straight weeks without a TD. 67 yards. To. The. HOUSE. #ATLvsNYG https://t.co/OYtGLktYl7

It seems as though Beckham's potential concussion from last week's game may have improved his talent! (Although it definitely did stunt his game last week, as he made no other catches after he got hit).
Unfortunately, the Giants couldn't take the win, as they lost to Atlanta by 4 points (24-20). For the second straight week, the Giants experienced a late-game meltdown. Their late-game defense still needs some work. As they allowed an opponent to march down the field for a game-winning score for the second time in a row. Atlanta went 70 yards in seven plays within 1:58 remaining for the winning score. The Giants failed to provide any resistance. On top of that, their late-game offense was seriously lacking, too.
According to NJ.com, the Giants also suffered an injury. Rookie left tackle, Ereck Flowers, limped off the field early in the third quarter and didn't return. Flowers is the Giants' second left tackle who is currently suffering an injury. Their other left tackle, Will Beatty, is out until at least mid-October.
Things aren't looking too well for the Giants, despite OBJ's fantastic TD and catch(es).
