Dontnod Entertainment, the development studio behind Square Enix's popular episodic video game Life is Strange, announced this week that the final episode of the title, "Polarized," is aiming for an Oct. 20, 2015 release date. Since today (Sept. 21) is the character Max's birthday, the studio decided to announce the unofficial release date for episode five in a new blog post. Considering the popularity and critical acclaim of this video game series, we're expecting an intense finale that will have us all begging for more gameplay. [Possible SPOILERS to follow]

"We don't normally announce a date until we know the game is 100% ready but in the spirit of Max's birthday (today) we wanted to let you know early that we are aiming to release Episode 5 'Polarized' October 20," the game's producer, Luc Baghadoust, wrote on the Square Enix blog post (via IGN).
This isn't an official date though, as Baghadoust went on to warn followers that basically anything could happen and the release could possibly be pushed back.
"Many things can change in the lead up to release but the team are working really hard to try and hit this date," he explained. "We know the wait may be a bit longer than some of you were hoping for but we want to ensure Episode 5 is the best it can be."
