'19 Kids & Counting' Star Jill Duggar to Deliver More Babies as a Midwife

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard might have just added new baby Israel into their family, but according to new reports the 19 Kids and Counting stars have even more big baby news. No the couple isn't following in their parents' footsteps and adding another baby to their family just yet, but they do have an exciting announcement in regards to other people's pregnancies. In fact, the couple broke the news that Jill would be helping deliver more babies into the world as a midwife, and the star was just certified earlier this month.

The starlet's hubby posted on the blog that he shares with his wife to announce that after all her hard work, Jill had finally gotten her certification.

"It's official! My wife is a midwife," the star wrote. "As of Wednesday, September 16, and after the 7-hour comprehensive exam for certified professional midwifes, she is now Jill Duggar, CPM."

Perhaps we should add the CPM designation to every article from here on out. Derick couldn't help but gush about his wife, saying that he was "so proud" of her "for her diligence, perseverance, and hard work to see this long road through to its end and reaching her goal of becoming a CPM."

According to Radar Online, the process of becoming a CPM requires a lot of course work, studying, tests, research and clinicals, but Derick assured fans that all the hard work would pay off on their mission trip abroad.

Jill also posted on her Instagram account, showing a picture of her and Derick's house, where her hubby posted a sign on the door that read "Congrats Jill. Soooo excited for you. Great job."
