Niall Horan, Amy Green, Demi Lovato: One Direction Star Making Headlines and Breaking Hearts? Rumors Erupt This Week

Niall Horan has been showing up in gossip headlines recently, mostly over rumors about his break up with Amy Green and stories centered around Demi Lovato. It seems like Harry Styles is going to take a break from being the most gossip-centric One Direction member now that the 19-year-old Horan has been gaining attention over his love life. Earlier this week, it was announced that Nial ended his relationship with 20-year-old drama student Amy Green due to a busy schedule. The couple started seeing each other in October but never confirmed that they were actually dating. Now that Horan is single, he is being linked to 20-year-old Demi Lovato once again.

Rumors of Niall and Demi dating started after the two reportedly chatted over Skype and then met at the 2012 VMAs. The two denied the claim, but when Lovato jokingly passed a message from Horan to her "X-Factor" co-judge, Simon Cowell, the Internet basically exploded with gossip. Clearly this was not a good thing to do on television if you are trying to deny something. When October came around, Demi seemed to be out of the picture and Amy Green entered.

Again, Niall and Amy never confirmed their relationship, but plenty of candid shots and reported hangouts seemed like proof enough. Apparently, Green even left her previous boyfriend for Horan. Unfortunately, even if they never actually dated, Niall and Horan are DEFINITELY not dating as of this week. Do not worry; the 2 are on good terms, though. Green recently took to her Twitter account to basically just deny the whole relationship, but either way it is still entertaining enough:

Anyway, now that Amy is out of the picture, the rumors about Demi have already started up and once again the songstress is helping them grow. In a recent interview, Lovato "gushed" about Horan, saying:

"All of the One Direction guys are great - but there is something a little special about him. Niall is really one of the most fun people to be around. It has obviously not been great hobbling around on a broken leg - but Niall can even make that funny. He can make light of the most serious situations - and every girl needs somebody like Niall in their life. I know when a text comes through from Niall there is a great chance it is going to actually make me laugh out loud."

So are these just innocent comments or is the "X-Factor" judge making her relationship with the One Direction star public?
