NBC airs the highly anticipated premiere of Heroes Reborn, from creator Tim Kring (DIG). In Episode 1, will Luke Collins (Zachary Levi) and Noah Bennet (Jack Coleman) find themselves in a Brave New World?

After a plane crash, Noah Bennet screams for his daughter Claire. A year later, we see an invisible man running from the police. After a mother and son dodge the Canadian border, Luke Collins visits an anonymous group, who are all hiding from the government. Because each of them all have powers, they are scared of being hunted.

After the boy Tommy leaves and gets on the bus, Luke starts laughing and reminisces how his son died in his arms. Their powers are not safe and natural. Luke starts shooting when Joanne Collins (Judith Shekoni) enters the room, blasting away. After killing everyone in the room, they still have the boy Tommy to kill.

While making his car sale, Noah stops something suspicious in the parking lot. Elsewhere at a high school, the war hero, Carlos (Ryan Guzman), tells the students that they all have the potential to be heroes. Tommy Clarke (Robbie Kay) tries to use his powers against a bully but fails.Tommy then learns about his group being murdered.

As the witness to the murders has his mind erased, Jack is unable to concentrate on his girlfriend while being stalked. Elsewhere, Miko (Kiki Sukezane) sees something in her artwork. At school, Tommy is unable to keep his eyes away from Emily (Gatlin Green). Though he is a seen as a war hero, Carlos is given a lecture from his brother, Oscar, about responsibility.

At his home, Noah spots the same stalker outside. He confronts his stalker, who wants answers about his past. June 13th was the beginning of something and Noah's name is everywhere. Mohinder Sareesh's paper was supposed to be published but he became a patsy.

Miko isn't too happy when she is being described as Katana Girl. Noah looks back on his journal but can't seem to find any of his writing on June 13. While Noah follows a lead, Carlos heads out into the streets and watches the news about El Vengador. El Vengador happens to be a costumed vigilante  fighting crime. His body armor though doesn't stop the bullet he got hit with.

Carlos meets the man underneath the mask and watches Oscar die. At a diner, Joanne notices Luke is having second doubts about killing Tommy. At the same place, Tommy ends up meeting Luke by accident, not realizing he is the murderer. Joanne then comes in, pointing her gun at him.

When Emily interrupts, Joanne is about to shoot her. Luke uses his powers to make Joanne and Luke disappear. Not knowing what to say to Emily, Luke starts to run. After she catches up to him, Emily promises to keep his secret safe because he saved her.

Carlos doesn't know Jose can phase through walls. During his investigation, Noah finds himself being pointed with a gun. The Haitian (Jimmy Jean-Louis) is actually waiting for him. Miko finds something under the floorboards, picks up a magical sword, and finds herself in a computer game.

The Haitian brings back Noah's glasses and starts to strangle him. Noah ends up shooting The Haitian during the struggle. Noah doesn't know why he needed to forget.

The Haitian's last words are, "It's coming."
