It seems like Deflategate isn't over just yet. According to a very influential person in the NFL, the league has no doubt that New England Patriots' star quarterback, Tom Brady, will serve a four-game suspension for the Deflategate allegations, despite the recent nullification of Brady's suspension.

According to CBS Sports, Craig Carton of the New York-based radio show Boomer and Carton, announced that he spoke with a "very influential person in the NFL" on Thursday who told him that the NFL is still pushing extremely hard for Tom Brady to serve a four-game suspension at some point during this season.

After the nullification of Brady's suspension was ruled by a judge, the league appealed that ruling, and now they are clearly trying their best to expedite that appeal so Brady will be forced to serve his suspension.

As reported by NBC Sports, the NFL source also told Carton that there is "no doubt in his mind" that the appeal will be finalized sometime between now and the end of the 2015-2016 season.

But Carton's co-host, Boomer Esiason, attempted to devalue the source: "What this person doesn't realize [is] that they all felt the same way prior to Judge Berman's ruling. But what they didn't know is that Judge Berman was going out to the Hamptons to hang out with [Patriots owner] Bob Kraft. ...

"I don't buy it," he continued. "I know they want to expedite an appeal, but there's so many other things on the docket at these courts. Is this really that important to somebody?"

Normally an appeal process could take up to 10 months and if an appeal is expedited it could take approximately 5-6 months, so for the NFL to be able to expedite the appeal and make claims of reinstating Brady's four-game suspension this early in the season seems a bit wary. But it fairly clear that Deflategate will probably be a never-ending controversy.
