Each week, NFL players get injured. It's a tough sport, so we should expect it. In week three of the 2015 season, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was hit hard on the knee, having to leave the field. Similar injuries plagued C.J. Anderson, Vernon Davis and more. What do these injury reports mean for your Fantasy Football teams heading into week four? The biggest injury news coming out of week three (so far) is the torn MCL of Roethlisberger, confirmed by reports after the game this weekend (via). Apparently, MRIs showed that his ACL is fine, which means a 4- to 6-week recovery time, leaving the Steelers without their main QB for a while. Do you think he'll miss all six weeks, or just four?
Another player suffering a knee injury this week was 49ers' Vernon Davis, but it doesn't look to be as serious as Roethlisberger's situation, according to Bleacher Report.
The Denver Broncos' running back C.J. Anderson left the Sunday Night Football game against the Detroit Lions for a head injury, which was deemed a concussion.
Jeremy Tiermini of Fantasy Pros says that Anderson sitting out next week is likely.
Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills might have to rest star players LeSean McCoy and Sammy Watkins for re-aggravating a hamstring injury and developing a calf problem, respectfully.
Marshawn Lynch also had a calf injury headed into this week's Seahawks game against the Chicago Bears. He ended up playing, but left with a hamstring injury. We're imagining he'd sit out next week.
We're expecting a full injury report on Fantasy and NFL websites heading into week four.
