According to a poll on gadget website MenKind.co.uk, Kristen Stewart may be one of the hottest stars in Hollywood, but the men in Great Britain consider her the "Least Sexy Actress." Wait. Isn't Kristen dating a British man, named Robert Pattinson? Other actresses included on the list were Uma Thurman, Denise Richards, Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton, Kirsten Dunst and Lucy Liu.
According to a spokesman for "Men Kind:"
"Our Oscars poll has been a fascinating insight into the minds of British men - it's shown that sexiness is far more than appearance. They were turned off by volatile and moody actresses as well as ice queens. And they don't want to see unhealthily skinny starlets on the big screen."
When you look at it that way, this pretty much sums up Kristen Stewart very well. "Sexiness" is definitely not measured by looks alone and the appeal of an actress is taken into account. The fact that Stewart has been in tabloids for her infidelities probably does not help her "sexiness" either. But either way, she is back together with boyfriend Robert Pattinson and even has been defended by Emma Watson in the media. Both of these actors are British, by the way. It seems like the people who took part in the poll disagree with their mates on this one.
So what do you think? Is Kristen Stewart the "Least Sexy Actress" these days? Do you agree with this poll? I honestly cannot help but feel bad for all of these fine actresses. Say what you want about their talent, but for the most part they are all talented. Tilda Swinton is an Academy Award winner, for instance. It is kind of sad that Mischa Barton is on this poll. What has she done recently? Is she bigger in the United Kingdom than over here in the States? That is the real story, I think.
Her personality and her talent are key factors when judging an actress' sex appeal. Notice how I said, "judging." Though there is no way around superficial judgments in the acting world, it is still a very disgusting practice. "Men Kind" tries to say that this poll is based off of personality rather than looks, but how would the website know? This was a poll after all. Was there a comment section where some of the participants said something like, "She does not smile enough!" or something?
