They might have both just gotten divorces, but that doesn't look like it is keeping Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani bitter about marriage. The two coaches of The Voice were present during the Monday, September 28 episode of the NBC reality series, as a couple decided to enter a whole new phase of their relationship. That's right, during the blind auditions, the duo known as Jubal and Amanda officially become fiancé and fiancée. Out of all the previous seasons, this might be one of the most memorable moments of all. Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, Gwen and Blake looked on as Jubal got down on one knee to propose to Amanda.
While the two coaches are going through splits from Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale, respectively, they didn't seem to let their own love lives clout their happiness for the two contestants.
When Amanda Preslar and Jubal Lee Young got up on stage to perform their rendition of The Eagles song, "Seven Bridge Road," we are sure that Amanda wasn't expecting to end the hit song with a ring on her finger, but that is indeed what happened.
Not only did she get a proposal, but the duo's version of the song also prompted Stefani and Williams to turn their chairs around. According to HuffingtonPost, Stefani couldn't help but praise the chemistry between the two, saying, "To hear the harmony, it was very seductive. There was some kind of special energy in it as well. You could tell you guys have something special."
However, it was Shelton who was the one that got the proposal ball rolling, by asking if the couple were married, according to the video clip below.
"Not yet," Preslar replied, adding, "One Day," according to E! News.
Young then proceeded to say "Alright," and got down to pop the question to his unsuspecting girlfriend. The gesture was met with smiles and applause from the audience and Stefani even shouted an "Are you serious!?" while beaming with a smile on her face.
