Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards sat in front of Congressional Republicans earlier on Tuesday to discuss the possible defunding of her organization, a place she feels provides wonderful health care to women in need – despite being the abortion-swirling, baby-killing hell the right wing attempts to make it out to be.

Our words, of course, not hers.

During her speech at the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing, Richards explained that she's "proud" of the work done by her organization, and blames much of the negative attention to be all because of a "smear campaign" which shows "secretly recorded videos of employees discussing" the practice of fetal tissue research. Videos that she claims are "doctored."

"The sensationalistic atmosphere the doctored videos seek to create is exactly the opposite of the reasoned and deliberate process President Reagan set in motion with the Human Fetal Tissue Transplantation Research Panel," she said, adding that the videos are misleading, and not at all informative.

She also expressed that the organization does more work outside of the fetal tissue research, labeling what those against the foundation are focusing on as "minuscule."

Planned Parenthood's president further explained that anti-abortion activist David Daleiden "acted fraudulently and unethically, and perhaps illegally" in obtaining the videos.

Folks, do you stand with Planned Parenthood? ScarJo does...
