In anticipation of our upcoming MT Buzz Awards, MStars News is taking a closer look at the Most Surprising Musical Collaborations of 2015. Be sure to vote in our poll below, and tell us who you think should win the title!
Jason Derulo/Keith Urban: "Broke"
The soulful R&B, pop singer has taken over the radio this year, but his catchy hit "Broke" had us all surprised. Partnering with legendary music act Stevie Wonder, Derulo seemed poised for even more success, but he wasn't satisfied with only one collaborator.
Enlisting the help of Australian country music icon and husband of actress Nicole Kidman, "Broke" had us all dumbfounded but pleasantly surprised in 2015!

Madonna/Mike Tyson/Chance The Rapper: "Iconic"
Madonna is still relevant, you guys! You can tell by the way she worked on new music with Chance the Rapper, one of the most talked about performers of his generation. Unfortunately, these artists aren't too good for the "wow" factor in their music, so former boxing champion Mike Tyson also appears on this number.
We know that Madonna is "Iconic" in music, but this surprise was a little too much for us to handle.

Jamie xx/Young Thug/Popcaan: "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)"
Jamie xx surprised us all with his new banger "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)," which features two artists you wouldn't imagine together. Thug is a prominent rapper in the hip-hop world while Popcaan is known mostly in clubs for his dancehall hits. What happens when you put it all together? One of the coolest and most surprising songs of the year.

Skrillex/Diplo/Justin Bieber: "Where Are Ü Now"
Producers like Diplo and Skrillex tend to stick to remixing popular songs rather than work with, say, the biggest pop star in the world. Fortunately for us, Justin Bieber is on the path to becoming more than just a joke in the music world, and he started with this surprising but powerful song .

A$AP Rocky/Rod Stewart: "Everyday"
When you say "hip-hop" and/or "rap," you're most likely thinking of Rod Stewart, right? Of course not! That's why we were so surprised to hear him on the sample of "Everyday" by A$AP Rocky this year. Though it's a surprising collaboration, the song sticks out as one of the best releases of 2015.
