Developer Krillbite Studio has announced the official release date, along with the launch trailer for their PC and PS4 psychological horror videogame. Check out the terrifying gameplay footage of Among The Sleep, which is told from the perspective of a frightened infant.
As we previously mentioned, the official synopsis of this new game simply states that Among the Sleep is "a first person horror adventure, in which you play a two-year-old child." This of course could get your imagination wondering just how creepy this game could actually be. The answer is that it just might be the creepiest gamey you will ever play.
According to the official Playstation Blog, Kristina Halvorsen, Chief of Marketing & Community at Krillbite, has announced that the horror game is coming to the PS4, just in time for the Christmas holidays. With the release date set for early December, the creators and developers can rest easy now after a ton of technical work.
Halvorsen explains the wait, "We are a young studio and we started making this game in school. We made a lot of strange stuff and code at the beginning of the project that has been coming back to bite us in our behinds during the development process! But we have also learned so much that will help us make our next experience much smoother!"
As IGN reports, Krillbite mentioned that the psychological horror game needed a bunch of technical work after the developing team moved from Unity 3 to Unity 5.2 for the console version. The developers also had to update the audio and visuals, making sure the title runs at 60 frames per second.
Among the Sleep will be available for the Playstation 4 and PC on December 10. There is no release date for the horror game on Microsoft's console at this moment.
