While it's been rumored for a while, this is the first concrete evidence we have seen that Portugal. The Man. are working with Danger Mouse on their upcoming LP.

The photos show the guys from Wasilla (the place that gave the world Sarah Palin) working on new music with the famed DJ and producer.

Danger Mouse, born Brian Burton, came to fame with his sonically incredible and very illegal re-working of Jay-Z's The Black Album  and the Beatles' White Album. The creatively titled Grey Album laid Hova's vocals over samples from the 1968 double album. The album gained a cult following on the internet and in critical circles and drew cease and desist letters from EMI, the copyright holder of the Beatles' album.

After gaining notoriety through the project, Burton went on to produce with artists such as the Gorrilaz, the Black Keys and Beck. He has collaborated with James Mercer of the Shins and Cee-Lo Green to form the groups Broken Bells and Gnarls Barkley, respectively.

The pictures of the band and Danger Mouse were released on Bonnaroo's official tumblr. Both acts have performed at Bonnaroo previously.

The Grammy-winning producer's presence may mean a slightly more syncopated, hip-hop sound from Alaskan experimental rock band Portugal. The Man.

What do you guys think? Are you excited about a Portugal. The Man/ Danger Mouse collaboration? Will the Grammy-winner help or hinder Portugal. The Man's Sound?
