Lindsay Lohan Borrows $1,750 Designer Dress, Wears Gown to Fashion Week, Allegedly Cuts Dress and Ruins It!

Lindsay Lohan is back in the news for all the wrong reasons. Lohan borrowed, key word "borrowed", a $1,750 designer gown and then returned it in ruined condition.

Lohan borrowed the metallic beaded Theia gown to wear to the amfAR New York Gala on Feb. 6 as part of Fashion Week. According to Us Weekly, the troubled star wore the dress to a club after the fundraiser and ripped the gown. Lohan reportedly then cut the dress to half its size with scissors. Us Weekly has the picture of the cut up dress.

Not sure if Lohan was trying to make a fashion statement or this can just be marked up to another bone headed move by the celebrity starlet. The story gets even weirder.

It seems Lohan's new celebrity friend Charlie Sheen was the one responsible for hooking up Lohan with the borrowed dress. According to Us, before choosing to borrow the dress, Sheen had offered to split the cost of the gown if Lohan wanted to buy it. Of course she didn't want to buy it. She just wanted to wear it out one night, completely ruin it, then return it at no cost.

Sheen reportedly helped setup the borrowed dress for Lohan along with stylist Phillip Block. Sheen is probably regretting the day he became friends with Lohan. Sheen hasn't commented, but it seems like Theia Couture found out about the mishap second hand.

A representative for Theia Couture told ABCNews.com in a statement, "We were informed by Mr. Bloch's assistant that the dress was damaged during the course of the evening. The dress has not been returned, and it wasn't until we saw the photos in the media, that we became aware of the actual condition of the gown."

This is just another headline in a what is becoming a weekly adventure for Lohan. If it isn't rumors of drug abuse, court appearances, money problems, then it's ruined dresses.

At what point does this insanity stop? Becoming friends with Charlie Sheen probably isn't the best company for the actress. However, at this point, it seems like Sheen is the responsible one in this friendship!
