The Undertaker and Paul Heyman have waged war several times in their WWE careers and their latest battles occurred at WrestleMania 30 and SummerSlam earlier this year. They will face off again at Hell in a Cell later this month and Paul Heyman says this will be the last time. Be warned, there are spoilers ahead.

Heyman spoke to Scott Fishman of Channel Guide Magazine and one of the major topics of discussion, as you might expect, was his good friend and client, Brock Lesnar, specifically his impending match with Undertaker at Hell in a Cell.

Some fans criticized the decision to announce the high-profile match-up with a video package at Night of Champions last month and then barely mention it thereafter. Furthermore, some fans questioned why WWE has decided to do this match at Hell in a Cell rather than at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas next year.

Heyman, master of the spoken word that he is, addressed and assuaged all of those concerns in just two paragraphs of text.

“There is such an interest in this final confrontation,” he said. “I think it’s very safe to say Brock Lesnar versus The Undertaker at Hell in a Cell is the final time these two will step in the ring against each other. This interest was there for their rivalry at SummerSlam and when we made our case after SummerSlam the next night on Raw. This is the time to exploit that public interest. Holding this match off until WrestleMania would have been a mistake.

“The people want it now. The audience wants it now. There is a long time between now and WrestleMania. Someone could get hurt. The audience could lose interest. Something else may garner more attention. This is the time to exploit that opportunity. No, I’m not surprised it is happening this fast. I’m very happy that we are doing this particular match on this particular pay-per-view.”
