After one of Ron Kronenberger's tenants fell behind $2,800 in rent, the local business leader decided to teach him a lesson with an old fashioned spanking. 53-year-old Kronenberger told the 29-year-old tenants, "If you're going to act like a child, I'm going to treat you like one," and proceeded to whip the man's rear end with his leather belt. Ron has since been charged with one count of assault, which is first-degree misdemeanor.

Ron Kronenberger is scheduled for arraignment at 1 p.m. Thursday in Waynesville, Ohio. The incident occurred on January 22 at his office at the Hometown Marketplace, which is a supermarket he owns. Ron reportedly struck the alleged viction four times with a belt on his bare buttocks. According to a police report, pictures taken of the man's body show "little marks." According to Police Chief Gary Copeland, the 29-year-old alleged victim submitted to the whipping because he was "scared and just wanted to get it over with." Upon questioning, Ron admitted to the assault.

Krononberger has made no statements to the press or to police regarding this case. On top of being a business owner, Ron Kronenberger is also the past president of Waynesville Area Chamber of Commerce and the 2006 Waynesville Citizen of the Year.

This is not the only spanking in recent news. While the story of Ron Kronnenberger is a little strange, it evokes thoughts of the store clerk spanking a customer's child earlier this month. Mstarz recently reported the following:

According to recent reports, Emilia Graciela Bell, an employee at a Dollar General store in Wrightsville, GA, was arrested and charged with cruelty to a child last Thursday (Jan. 31) after whipping an "unruly" young boy with her own belt. A detailed police report reveals that 8-year-old Logan Ivey was allegedly misbehaving in the store, throwing items such as cookies and batteries at the female clerk. In response, Bell pulled off her own belt and whipped the young boy as many as 25 times on the back. Surveillance video from the store (which has not been released to the public) captured the entire beating, and the charges against Bell eventually grew from simple battery to aggravated assault to the more serious crime of cruelty to a child.
