French DJ David Guetta has reached a milestone with his single "Titanium" that has hit one million in digital sales.

Guetta produced and co-written song, 2009's "I Gotta Feeling" (Black Eyed Peas) holds the world record for being one of the first songs to get more than a million downloads. And now Guetta gives another hit.

"It's incredible," said David Guetta, BBC Radio, reported.

"It took me a long time to break the UK as an artist; a decade. To see all the hard work pay off and have the support of the British people makes it all worthwhile."

"I am so proud of Titanium, it's the start of a new direction for me and a song that I think will stand the test of time."

"To be alongside some of the greatest records and artists of all time by selling a million copies in the UK is a wonderful feeling, and that it's with this record in particular makes me especially happy."

The song features Australian singer Sia Furler. The song is behind We Are Young, Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe and Goyte's Somebody That I Used To Know, EntertainmentWise reported.

The success Guetta faces has been compared with that of The Spice Girls and The Beatles.
