After weeks of rumors flying about a possible co-headlining arena tour, Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z have finally revealed plans for a "Legends of The Summer" tour on Jay-Z's Life + Times website.
The idea has been circulating ever since JT released the first single off of his upcoming album The 20/20 Experience, "Suit and Tie." The song features a guest verse by HOV and left many people wondering whether or not the two superstars would be seeing any stage time together.
According to the New York Post, Timberlake hinted as much on the red carpet at the Grammys.
"We're definitely going to go on tour," Timberlake allegedly said. "I don't know how much I should say ... It's going to be a lot of fun, I know that."
Jay-Z made a sly confirmation of this by tweeting pictures of 12 iconic North American stadiums with the hashtag #LegendsOfTheSummer.
The twelve stadiums shown are as follows:
-Hershey Park Stadium - Hershey, Pennsylvania
-M&T Bank Stadium - Baltimore, Maryland
-Soldier Field - Chicago, Illinois
-Ford Field - Detroit, Michigan
-Citizen Bank Park - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
-Yankee Stadium - Bronx, New York
-Rose Bowl Stadium - Pasadena, California
-Sun Life Stadium - Miami, Florida
-Fenway Park - Boston, Massachusetts
-Candlestick Park - San Francisco, California
-BC Place Stadium - Vancouver, Canada
-Rogers Centre - Toronto, Canada
No word yet on dates, ticket prices or availability, but that is expected in the coming days.
Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience is slated to drop next month.
