Fox continues Season 3 of Sleepy Hollow. In the upcoming Episode 2, as the fight against the supernatural continues, will Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) and Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) end up clashing with historical figure Betsy Ross (Nikki Reed)?
After dying in the midst of battle during the Revolutionary War, solider Ichabod (Mison) awakes in the present-day Sleepy Hollow, New York. His sudden resurrection is connected to the reappearance of the Headless Horseman, who happens to be one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. To prevent the end of the world, Crane teams up with Mills (Beharie) to stop the Horseman's evil reign of terror.
As we previously mentioned, Lane Gross (Crisis) has landed the romantic interest role as Daniel Reynolds, the FBI special agent in charge. As Abbie's (Beharie) new boss. Reynolds intends on making a name for himself at the bureau with his tenacity and political savviness. His first assignment in Sleepy Hollow will eventually reunite him with Abbie. Abbie won't be the only one dealing with a new love interest. Crane returns to England, without any legal documents to call his own, thanks to Zoe Corinth (Maya Kazan).
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Mison describes Crane's relationship with Betsy Ross, "That's interesting because that's an alpha woman. That's the protofeminist in the 18th century, and she can outfight him and outsmart him. They're work colleagues in a very sexy situation, so it's complicated. Facebook status relationship: It's complicated."
The Sleepy Hollow actor adds, "So far, I'm genuinely enjoying reading the episodes. It's going in a really good direction this year, and we've got lots of new characters this year. The return of Joe Corbin (Zach Appelman) is excellent. He and Lyndie have a really nice partnership, so they can run off and fight things. New baddie, new flashback with Betsy Ross (Reed)."
Sleepy Hollow continues Thursdays at 9pm. Get ready for the upcoming Halloween crossover with Bones.
