The Warriors head into Sunday afternoon's game as the no 2 team in the Western Pacific Conference of the Division Regular Season with 32 wins and 23 losses (coming in right behind the LA Clippers). The Golden States ranks no 12 overall out of 30 NBA teams. According to New York Daily News sports columnist Mitch Lawrence, "The Warriors made two small deadline moves, just to get under the tax threshold and avoid paying $1 million in tax. The big moves will come in June."
The Timberwolves are currently ranked no 5 in the Western Northwest Conference and currently holds the no 28 overall spot in the 2012-2013 NBA Regular Season this week with 20 wins and 32 losses. As Lawrence points out, "As if the T-wolves don't have enough problems, they've got four of their next five games on the road, starting Friday in Oklahoma City" (Minnesota lost 111-127).
