There's no better way to kick off Halloween 2015 than to stuff three people into coffins, bury them alive and film their not-so-cozy experiences with infrared cameras. Although it may seem a little bit far-fetched, that must have been what A&E was thinking when they decided to create the incredibly creepy 2-hour TV special Fear: Buried Alive. This one's bound to be a bone-chilling, fear-inducing, good time!

For most people, fear is simply something that we all live with. Some of us get creeped out by spiders, others are petrified of heights--the list goes on and on. So let's be real honest right now: it would be pretty tough to meet anyone who wasn't afraid of being buried alive. However, A&E couldn't resist the urge to gather up a group of people with an undeniable fear of being buried alive (also known as Taphophobia), and you know.. give them a nice push towards conquering their fear, by sealing them in a coffin six feet under and filming the whole ordeal on national television! Are these guys genius, or what?

A&E's Halloween TV special, Fear: Buried Alive, is set to make its way to the air on October 26th. As explained by ABC News, the TV show is a "chilling psychological experiment." Chilling is one way to put it, but "absolutely insane" might be a better fit. Regardless, there's still no better way to kick off Halloween then to indulge in a little bit of good old fashion fear-induced entertainment. Check out the trailer for A&E's Halloween TV special below and mark your calendars; this Halloween is about to get kicked off with one incredibly fearful bang!
