"The King of All Media" has spoken. Howard Stern spoke up this week in defense of Kelly Clarkson in her feud with legendary music producer Clive Davis. The two have been going back and forth over parts of Davis' new memoir The Soundtrack of My Life.

On his radio show Wednesday, Stern slammed Davis, calling his actions sickening.

"I always find it sickening when management guys like to set the record straight about how f---ing creative and what geniuses they are," Stern said on radio show according to US Weekly. "This guy's trying to diminish what she does? Doesn't he have enough in life? Can't he sort of tell his story without f---ing degrading her and putting her down?"

The whole Clarkson, Davis feud started after Davis wrote in his book that Clarkson at one point broke into "hysterical sobbing" in his office when Davis made her include the hit single "Since U Been Gone" on her Breakaway album. Clarkson refuted that claim in an open letter found here and said she actually broke into tears over a different song. In her letter Clarkson says:

"First, he says I burst into "hysterical sobbing" in his office when he demanded Since You Been Gone be on my album. Not true at all. His stories and songs are mixed up. I did want more guitars added to the original demo and Clive did not. Max, Luke and I still fought for the bigger sound and we prevailed and I couldn't be more proud of the life of that song. I resent him dampening that song in any way."

Davis responded to Clarkson's letter defending what he wrote. Mstarz reported on the story here. Davis said:

"I am truly very sorry that she has decided to take issue with what I know to be an accurate depiction of our time together. Before the book was published, I had every fact checked with five independent individuals who were present on a daily basis throughout it all."

Howard Stern is no stranger to celebrity feuds and has clearly drawn a line in the sand making it clear which side he is on. So will Davis have a response for Stern and his opinion on the matter? Keep checking Mstarz for the latest on this growing celebrity feud.
