Conan O'Brien has gone and done shows in the likes of New York, Los Angeles, Denver, Atlanta, Cuba, and now ... Armenia? It's being reported that CONAN will shoot an episode of the TBS show this week in Armenia and it will air on Nov. 10. O'Brien's assistant, Sona Movsesian, is reportedly with him, as she is of Armenian descent.
That, and, well, she's his assistant so she basically has to go wherever he goes, no?
Anyway, Variety is reporting that O'Brien is currently in Armenia with Movsesian and his crew to shoot an episode. The comedian claims, "I think it's every boss's responsibility to take their assistant back to their ancestral land. That's why I'm going to make sure my next assistant is born in a five-star resort in Tuscany."
If you're a fan of O'Brien's, you've undoubtedly seen Movsesian on the TBS show. Here's a refresher:
Before taking his show to Armenia, O'Brien famously took CONAN to Cuba, and was the first American late night talk show to do a show from the country in about 50 years.
Variety notes that during Upfronts this year, it was disclosed that the host is going to be taking the show on a "series of road-trip specials" – something that has many believing that the Armenia trip is just a quick glance at what he has planned.
So, who are his guests going to be? Perhaps the Kardashians? You know, because they're Armenian!
The Armenia episode of CONAN will air this coming Nov. 10 on TBS and 11 p.m.
Brought my assistant Sona home to Armenia. It was this or give her a raise. #ConanArmenia airs 11/10. https://t.co/m4beg84uHV
