Season 2 of the Batman prequel series, Gotham, continues on Fox. Before tonight's Episode 4, Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and the Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) were on stage to discuss their new cast member Paul Ruebens at the 2015 New York Comic Con.

In our previous recap, following Theo Galavan (James Frain)'s orders, the Maniax launched their first strike against the city. Because of their last relationship, Barbara (Erin Richards) lured Jim away from precinct before Jerome led another attack. After killing every other officer in the precinct, Jerome and Sarah Essen played their own mid game. By the time Jim returned, he found Sarah dying on the floor.

In our recent recap, while Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) watched Alfred (Sean Pertwee) put the moves on Leslie (Morena Baccarin), Jerome and Barbara held a charity benefit hostage. As Jerome held a knife to Bruce's throat, Theo switched sides, pretending to be the hero, and stabbed in the throat. Because the media played his laughter nonstop, Jerome's insanity spread across Gotham, inspiring the psychotic child who would become the Joker.

According to Variety, the Would You Rather hour actor squealed about his new cast mate, "He will be showing up very soon. Pee-Wee Herman is playing my dad! What the hell? Oh my god!"

Taylor then went on to add, "All the villains are going to start interacting with each other, and not just the villains but the heroes as well ... fun stuff is coming up."

Not only will The Riddler (Corey Michael Smith) have a big role to play in an upcoming storyline, tonight's episode will mark the introduction to Michael Chiklis as Captain Nathaniel Barnes, who is described as "a countermeasure to the villainy in Gotham."

Though Jerome was stabbed in the neck, producer John Stephens teased, "you probably haven't seen the last of that fellow."

Gotham Season 2 continues on Fox Tuesdays at 8pm.
