Until Gwyneth Paltrow broke things off with (ex) Coldplay hubby Chris Martin, the "Iron Man" starlet was very good friends with fellow Hollywood beauty, Beyonce. But rumors suggest that rapper Jay-Z and his Destiny's Child muse ultimately sided with Martin in the rather amicable divorce. Now, Patrow doesn't view the "7/11" songstress as such a great role model anymore...
In a recent interview with People magazine, the 43-year-old award-winning actress totally praised American sweetheart Taylor Swift (while slyly bashing Queen Bey -sort of):
"[Apple] loves Taylor Swift, and for me, that's such a great sign... Taylor is a girl who's incredibly talented. She writes her own music. She's not naked on the red carpet. She's an incredibly astute businesswoman, so with role models like that, she can't go wrong" (via MediaTakeOut.com).
Paltrow gave birth to daughter Apple Blythe Alison in 2004 (after tying the knot with Martin in December 2003). The "Shallow Hal" beauty announced that she was going through the process of a "conscious uncoupling" with the English rocker in March 2014, after a decade of marriage. She officially filed for divorce in April 2015. They also share a son together named Moses Bruce Anthony Martin (born 2006).
Anyway, by highly complimenting the 25-year-old "Bad Blood" pop sensation, was Paltrow indirectly dissing her former bestie? Interesting thought...
Well, Swift was just deemed the "Queen of Instagram" by surpassing 50 million followers (more than either Blue Ivy's momma or Kim Kardashian). Perhaps another epic celebrity feud's currently brewing, and Paltrow's just adding more fuel to the fire? Or were her innocent comments simply oversensationalized by MTO (again)?
Meanwhile, Bey still might have some issues with her own marriage...
