Many teams feel the Golden State Warriors got "lucky" during last season's NBA Playoffs and Finals (specifically the Clippers). Ever since the word spread, the Warriors including Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Stephen Curry have been throwing shade by apologizing (sarcastically, of course) for winning the 2014-2015 NBA Championship.
What happened was during an interview last week, Los Angeles Clippers head coach, Doc Rivers said that the Golden State Warriors got "lucky" as they didn't have to play the San Antonio Spurs or the Los Angeles Clippers during the playoffs.
Here's what Doc said as per Huffington Post, "You need luck in the West. Look at Golden State. They didn't have to play us or the Spurs."
Klay Thompson started the shade throwing over the weekend when he violated the Clippers for questioning the Warriors' win.
"That sounds pretty bitter to me," said Thompson as reported by Realty Today. "If we got lucky, look at our record against them last year. I'm pretty sure we smacked them. Didn't they lose to the Rockets? Exactly. So haha. That just makes me laugh. That's funny. Weren't they up 3-1 too? Yeah, tell them I said that. That's funny. That's funny."
Draymond Green, who's known for trash talking, continued the shot calling on Tuesday:
"If they saying that, they aren't the champs," Green said according to FTW, USA Today. "It's simple. Gregg Popovich didn't say that. That's one organization I really respect. And you haven't heard anybody in they camp say that. You ain't heard anybody from OKC say that, some of the organizations that I really respect."

To top it all of, when Steph Curry was asked about his opinion on what people have been saying about the Warriors as of late, he said:
"I apologize for us being healthy, I apologize for us playing who was in front of us," Curry said as reported by Bleacher Report. "I apologize for all the accolades we received as a team and individually. I'm very, truly sorry, and we'll rectify that situation this year."
Now, that's true MVP material. Curry never said anything negative about James Harden's claims of deserving to be MVP, and now he continues by throwing subliminal shade without trash talking. Says a lot about his ethics.
Curry is definitely deserving of his MVP award along with his NBA Championship ring. The Warriors didn't get "lucky," achieved their title through hard work and dedication, as proven by last season's statistics.
