‘LHHNY’ Castmate Tahiry Jose Drops a ‘Dose of Reality’ Trailer on BET

BET dropped a trailer for celebrity friendly monthly online magazine style show, Dose Of Reality, a fresh look for the networks digital program line up. The first episode features an exclusive interview with Love And Hip Hop New York's former castmate and Joe Budden's former girlfriend, Tahiry Jose. The shows creator and host is veteran music journalist, Kim Osorio. She's the author of tell-all, Straight From The Source: An Expose From The Former Editor In Chief Of Hip Hop Bible.

Tahiry candidly discusses her career in a one-on-one interview with Dose of Reality. Fans will get the scoop about her relationship with Budden and her thoughts about him filming Couple's Therapy after finding out about his involvement with the VH1 show via Twitter. "He should have called me and asked me to lend him something if he needed it instead of going out there and just doing it for the check. Like, go in the booth or something," she says, implying her ex did the show for money instead of recording music to make what he needed.

Osorio asked the star if she would consider doing another reality show? She said, "I love the camera. I love to be in front of the camera," and added, "It's easy for me, its effortless. I just love to talk and allow people in to let the world see that I'm just like they are."

The interview's voiceover by Osorio boosted of Tahiry's brand endeavors like her nail polish line by Color Club Nail Polish. Recently, the company allowed her a more creative role. She's also a designer of a fashionable tee shirt line called Served Fresh Tahiry Collection. The line has catchy phrases and slogans that promote natural beauty. The show wrapped after a roundtable discussion with a group of fans about her reality show career. Tahiry admitted watching past episodes of LHHNY and says it was therapeutic and that she may return to television in the near future but she won't return to the show. She claimed to have offers for several projects but, no contractual commitments.

Earlier this week, Tahiry and Divas Leading Inc. hosted their 5th annual cancer awareness charity in Harlem, New York at By The Hudson Restaurant. According to a press release, donations were to be made for the American Cancer Society.
