'Arrow' Season 4 SPOILERS: Episode 5 'Haunted' Description with Matt Ryan's Constantine!

For months, fans have been waiting for the Season 4 episode of Arrow in which Matt Ryan would reprise his role as the titular character from the NBC series Constantine. Fortunately, we're almost there, as the official description for Episode 5, "Haunted," has now been released. There are spoilers below, so be warned!

Interestingly, the synopsis reveals two key pieces of information about two important characters. Comic Book Movie has posted the description, which you can read in full below:

"MATT RYAN REPRISES HIS ROLE AS JOHN CONSTANTINE ON ARROW — When things take a turn for the worse with Sara (guest star Caity Lotz), Oliver (Stephen Amell) calls in a favor from an old friend who deals in the mystical, John Constantine (guest star Matt Ryan). John Badham directed the episode written by Brian Ford Sullivan & Oscar Balderrama."

So two things to note here. First, the synopsis says that "things take a turn for the worse with Sara." We already knew from promos that DC's Legends of Tomorrow would feature Sara Lance as the White Canary, so it was obvious that Sara was coming back somehow. The sizzle reel shown at New York Comic-Con 2015 also showed Sara and her sister, Laurel (Katie Cassidy), standing side by side in their full Black Canary costumes.

In the first two episodes of Season 4 we have seen thus far, we've learned that Laurel intends to bring Sara's body to Nanda Parbat in order to bring her back to life. We've also seen Thea Queen (Willa Holland) suffer some side effects from her own resurrection. So it's understandable then that there would be some problems in bringing back Sara, who has been dead for more than a year on the show's time.

It's also interesting that Oliver already knows Constantine, and the latter owes the former a favor. Hopefully the flashbacks in this episode explain the connection.
