The worse rematch in the history of football goes to deflategate NFL enemies, the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium. Last night, the game did not go as expected when quarterback Tom Brady, the primary suspect, did not punish the Colts. In case you were under a rock last football season, two ball boys and Tom Brady were accused of tampering with footballs by releasing air and was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct during last years AFC Championship between the rivals. The Colts' front office were the whistleblowers and to add insult to injury, Robert Kraft, the owner of the Patriots, was fined $1 million dollars while the team's quarterback was both fined and suspended.
Just one month before the rematch, a New York Federal Judge, Judge Berman, found "significant deficiencies" and overturned the four game suspension citing Brady was treated unfairly and could not be suspended in a 40-page ruling, according to New York Times. Kraft held a press conference to denounce the NFL's charges and said, "I was willing to accept harshest penalty in history of NFL - for an alleged ball violation - because I believed it would help Tom," reported USA Today.
This game was suppose to set the Colt's straight and Brady had something to prove, but he failed. At halftime, the score was 21 Colts to 20 Pats and New England did not control the game as expected. By the fourth quarter, the Patriots adjusted and went on to win by a mere 7 points with the final score at 34-27. This is nothing to brag about and in fact, is an embarrassment to win by such measly points to a team that ruined the star quarterback's image and brand.

SB Nation had the betting line total at New England up by 10 points but someone forgot to inform the Patriots. Prior to Sunday night's game, Brady led the NFL in 347 passing yards per game and the Patriots offense ranked best in the league in total yards per game with 423.8 and second best in scoring offense with 37.3 points per game. On Tuesday, the league will tally up the stats which will put Brady ahead but we'll call this game, deflated!
