Kevin Gates Marries Baby Mama: Dreka Haynes NOT His Cousin! [PHOTOS]

Kevin Gates is a married man! MStars News has learned that the Baton Rouge native tied the knot, and said "I do" to his longtime girlfriend, and baby mama, Dreka Haynes over the weekend. Earlier this year, Gates revealed that he had a past relationship with his cousin, but Dreka isn't the girl that he was talking about! That love affair ended years ago. Gates allowed all of his 2 million fans inside of his big day, as he shared a series of photos from Saturdays wedding.

In the photo above, Gates claimed that marrying his new wife, was "The best thing I ever did."

I realize this can be confusing because when #KevinGates discusses his past relationships, he's never specific. He rarely includes names or dates so people assume he's talking about the only woman we've ever seen him with: #Dreka. Back in #January, Kevin gave an interview with #TMZ & discussed the cousin. They only dated for 2 years, ending in 2008. He and the cousin are still "good friends", but she's not the same woman as Dreka. Congrats to the newlyweds!! He was all smiles after being announced as husband and wife. Gates used Instagram most of the time on his wedding day. The photo below captures a snapshot of Gates looking down on his phone. It appears that he may have been updating his fans with more videos and photos while his new wife appears to be enjoying a toast to their marriage.

The couple stood in front of family and friends on stage where they said their vows to each other.

Their evening event was decorated in multiple flowers, a wedding canopy and chairs that circled the canopy all the way around.

Let's talk about about Dreka's dress! Her wedding gown was one of a kind and beautiful. The bride was decked out from head to toe with a studded tulle veil and an embroidery dress with two slits up the sides showing off her toned legs. Dreka's husband wore an all black suit.

Mr. and Mrs. Gates share two children together, Islah Koren and Khaza Kamil, both seen below in a video with their dad.

Gates has upgraded his fame ladder since his starting days in 2009. Right now the rapper's hits include "I Don't Get Tired" featuring August Alsina, "Paper Chasers," "Satellites," and many more. Gates also made his name known for some of his controversial concerts where he got into fights with females and other fans. Hopefully his marriage will turn him into a changed man for the better, and tone down some of his crazy behaviors.
