Sevyn Streeter Focuses on Making Money From Breakup with B.o.B.

It's been a crazy month for R&B singer Sevyn Streeter after her rapper boyfriend put their breakup on blast. But when it comes to love, Streeter claimed that she would rather focus on making money then suffer from a recent heartbreak. Just a few days ago, B.o.B. addressed the rumors that he cheated on Streeter with a new woman named Briteady. The "Underground Luxury" rapper claimed that he didn't cheat on the singer because she knew what was going on.

"If your woman knows about the other women, it's not cheating." B.o.B. said, continuing, "I'd rather be an honest dog than a lying prince charming...You may not like it but at least I'm honest."

The drama started when fans believed the woman in B.o.B's photo was Streeter, but turned out he was hanging out with Briteady.

Coming from two girl groups, including Rich Girls, and TG4, it seems Streeter is focused on her career and revealed that her road to success wasn't easy at all. Streeter, whose real name is Amber, also explained why she chose the name Sevyn Streeter as her performer name.

In a new interview, Streeter explained that her mother, Karen Streeter, went into labor with her at seven months pregnant back in 1986. Streeter was born on the 7th day, of the 7th month, which is July. So that means her birthday is July 7, 1986, for the one's who probably got confused on the breakdown. Lol. Hence Sevyn Streeter.

But besides positives there can be some negatives when it comes to the music business, and relationships seem to be one of them. Streeter is great at making songs about love, and breakups are a major influence to her hits.

"I'll write a song about you before I let you do that and I'll make paper off of you before I let you do that," she said in her interview.

It's probably safe to say Streeter's recent breakup with B.o.B. will more than likely be influencing some new songs. Since their split Streeter has been spotted working with R&B singer, Mario.
