Jay-Z, Beyonce Divorce Over Rihanna: Tell-All Book Exposes Elevator Fight Reason?

New reports allege that a tell-all book will reveal that Rihanna was Jay-Z's mistress that nearly ended his relationship with wife, Beyoncé.

In an unauthorized biography, "Becoming Beyonce" written by celebrity journalist, J. Rany Taraborrelli the famous couple's marriage may have been in hot water due to her obsessive work regimen in 2005 and his close relationship with singer, Rihanna.

Taraborrelli revealed in the book, "He felt that she was too concerned with [work] and overwhelmed by it...She also had a tendency to become moody and defensive when under great work pressure, and it had begun to drive a wedge between her and Jay... The two broke up for a time during that year. She flat-out told him she needed a break."

With rumors also circulating about his made-up affair with a 17-year-old Rihanna -which was set up by Jay-Z's camp to boost her image- Beyoncé was still skeptical about their "friendship" and believed the rumors surrounding their alleged affair. 

 "Beyoncé wasn't sure she could trust Jay when it came to his adamant denials," he says. "She couldn't help but be skeptical."

The author also mentions that Queen Bey and Jay had a public fallout at his famed New York 40/40 nightclub over the Barbadian beauty, "All that was heard...was Rihanna's name uttered several times, before Beyoncé stood up and stormed off. This alleged very public incident later resurrected in 2014 for the reason of their infamous elevator fight where Solange is seen on a surveillance tape attacking the rap star in the contained space after he suggested that they attend her post Met Gala party.

Hmmm.... This book sounds messy.

In Beyoncé's defense, she did post a photo of her and Rihanna from the Met Gala red carpet and posted on her Instagram page to shut down cheating rumors involving her, but then again she does have a great PR team to handle rumors after the elevator fight went viral.
