Fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have been following Kim Richards' sobriety since season 1 of the series, but after it was revealed that her issues had cost her a spot on the shows upcoming sixth season, viewers have been worried about the blonde haired sister of Kyle Richards. Yet, the star opened up about her struggles with her former co-star Brandi Glanville on the starlet's podcast Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, and she explain that despite her hardships that she has managed to center herself and has started focusing on the happier things in her life.
According to Us Weekly, fans might have seen Kim battle with issues onscreen during season 5, especially when she came to blows with Lisa Rinna during the girl's trip to Amsterdam, but it seems that being away from the series has really allowed her to focus on herself. Despite her rough couple of months, with arrests, relapses, and run-ins with the law, the star said that right now she is really just enjoying life.
"Everything's good. Just enjoying life, really, truly," the 51-year-old told her onscreen and off-screen bestie. "It's a good time for me right now."
As for her brief run-ins, including an arrest in April after a relapse at the Beverly Hills Hotel, and then an arrest in August for shoplifting at Target, the star explain that she has gotten everything under control.
"It's good. It's better now. It was a rough time for a bit there," the mother of four revealed. "Just putting everything back in order and just really focusing on my family and me."
"One day at a time, sometimes one minute at a time," Richards continued. "I'm living in the now, living in the present. If I look too far back or too far forward, it's kind of crazy and I get fearful. Living in the present for me is just the best way, and the only way for me."
