Bobby Brown has been sentenced to 55 days in jail after a DUI in October. March 2012, Brown was arrested for a DUI and was forced to seek treatment. In addition to his current DUI record, in 1996 the "Bad Boy" of R&B was also convicted for a DUI.
Tuesday, a Los Angeles spokesman Frank Mateljan confirmed Brown's sentencing. The singer and ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston pleaded no contest to the DUI charges and driving on a suspended license back in October 2012 after being on probation for another DUI case. The singer was pulled over by a police officer who said vehicle had a strong alcohol odor coming from it.
The New edition singer will start his sentencing on March 20 and was placed on four years of informal probation. In addition the singer will need to complete an 18-month alcohol treatment program.
