The final games of the 2015 MLB postseason are fast approaching - and things are finally heating-up!
The Toronto Blue Jays take the field against the Kansas City Royals in pivotal Game 6 of the American League Championship Series on Friday, October 23 at 8:07 p.m. EST from Ewing M. Kauffman Stadium in Missouri. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the highly-anticipated division championship ballgame online - also catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Kansas City leads the current series 3-2. Toronto must snag another win tonight in order to keep the ALCS alive. If not, the Royals will later compete in the World Series against the New York Mets (who swept the Chicago Cubs in the NLCS earlier this week).
Toronto cinched the ALDS against the Texas Rangers, while Kansas City snagged a victory over the Houston Astros, leading to this year's championship face-off.
Check out these five "bold" (and somewhat amusing) predictions about Game 5 via RantSports.com:
5. David Price Dazzles, Tosses Seven Shutout Innings -
There's just no way David Price is going to let the Kansas City Royals get the best of him twice in one series. Expect a monster performance from the veteran southpaw, in which he goes seven scoreless innings and strikes out 10, leaving the Kauffman Stadium faithful in absolute shock and dismay.
4. Yordano Ventura Knocked Out In Third Inning -
Yordano Ventura just hasn't shown the same moxie in 2015 as he did when he first came up. Unfortunately for Kansas City, Ventura is going to spit the bit against Toronto's powerful lineup, and ultimately get knocked out of the game in the third inning after giving up a total of six runs.
3. Lorenzo Cain, Eric Hosmer Strike Out A Combined Six Times -
You just can't afford a disappearing act from the middle of your order in the playoffs, and that's exactly what is going to happen to Kansas City. Lorenzo Cain and Eric Hosmer will be non-existent against the veteran southpaw David Price, as they strike out three times each within the first seven innings.
2. Jose Bautista Clobbers Home Run, Tallies Five RBI -
Jose Bautista owes Yordano Ventura a beatdown dating back to the regular season, when Ventura trashed him on Twitter and warned him they'd "meet again." Bautista is 3-for-5 with a home run against Ventura in his career, so don't be surprised when he bludgeons him for a homer and a double, tallying five RBI.
1. Toronto Defeats Kansas City 8-3, Forces Game 7 -
After the Blue Jays jump on Yordano Ventura early, the pressure will be off David Price, which will help him coast through his start. Kansas City will stage a comeback in the eighth against the Blue Jays' bullpen, but it will be too late. Toronto will cement a 8-3 victory to force Game 7 on Saturday.
Tonight's monumental ballgame will be broadcasted live on your local FS1 sports channel.
