Kelly Clarkson Reveals Gender of Second Child: River Rose to Have Baby Brother!

Kelly Clarkson's daughter, River Rose, is getting a baby brother! MStars News learned that the singer announced the gender of her second child via Instagram on Friday.

In the adorable snapshot of River, enjoying some playtime on an outside slide, mama Clarkson wrote: "In other news, River's gonna have a little baby brother :) #itsaboy We're so excited!"

MStars News previously learned that Clarkson was pregnant with her second child after she shocked her audience in Los Angeles' Staples Center back in August.

Blaming it on her hormones, the singer said on stage as she became emotional. "I was not planning on announcing this, but I'm pregnant," Clarkson said in the mic at that time. "Totally pregnant!"

She even told her husband, Brandon Blackstock, that she was sorry for revealing the news.

"My makeup artist is backstage hating me right now. I just don't want you to think I'm on pills or drunk ... I'd like to apologize to my husband. That was not planned. I just didn't want you to think I was crazy or something. Honestly, I'm just so hormonal today. ... I haven't vomited yet. That is a freakin' win, y'all," Kelly told the crowd.

After announcing her pregnancy, the singer claimed that she was terrified of having another child because her 16-month-old daughter was so "perfect."

Rose, was born on June 12 in 2014, and also have two half siblings, Savannah, 14, and Seth, 8 (from a previous marriage). Clarkson said "i do" to Blackstock in 2013.

Now that we know the sex of Clarkson and her husband's second child, MStars News wonders what his name will be? Considering that his big sister, River has a very unique name, we're sure he will probably be named just the same way.
