What better way to promote the new season of VH1's "Basketball Wives" than to let everyone know that cast members are already fighting. Stars of the show, Suzie Ketcham and Kenya Bell reportedly got into a physical brawl on set while shooting for the fifth season of VH1's hit reality show.
According to TMZ, the fight went down in a restaurant in Los Angeles where the cast was taping for the newest season. Reportedly Kenya was brought back on the show, after being fired, to make up with Suzie. Obviously, that isn't going well. Does anyone really think VH1 brought Kenya back to the show to patch things up with Suzie? My guess is this is exactly what producers were hoping for.
TMZ is reporting it gets even better. Not only was it a fight between the two ladies, but a food fight! Things started to get heated and Suzie reportedly threw her plate of meatballs at Kenya. According to TMZ's sources, Kenya fired back with punches and producers of the show had to step in and break them up. Fellow cast members Evelyn Lozada and Tami Roman walked away without getting involved. At least some of the cast members are learning.
Police were not called to the restaurant and the fight will be shown on the upcoming season. Thank goodness. Like they say, there is no such thing as bad press. Season five of "Basketball Wives" was supposed to be a nicer, gentler season, but that clearly has been thrown out the window. This is the only fight being reported on because it happened in a L.A. restaurant. There likely will be even more drama that fans have to hear about.
This only helps VH1 and the show, as who doesn't want to see these ladies throw meatballs at each other! The cast also recently took some promo photos for the new season, where they are looking glamorous and happy. Then again, why wouldn't they be happy? The new season is sure to be a hit!
