Ranveer Singh Could Not Take His Eyes Off From Deepika Padukone in ‘Bajirao Mastani’

Bollywood hunk Ranveer Singh, who stars alongside Deepika Padukone in upcoming period drama, Bajirao Mastani, says he could not take his eyes off her in the song "Deewani Mastani."

Actor Ranveer Singh, 30, is going to play the role of Indian historical character, Bajirao, alongside his rumored girlfriend, Deepika Padukone, 29, in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani. The actor says he could not take his eyes off Deepika when he saw the song "Deewani Mastani," which was launched on Oct. 17. Ranveer took to Twitter on Saturday to share his thoughts about the song that features Deepika in all her beauty and glory.

The song "Deewani Mastani" has already crossed 4 million views on YouTube and is currently trending on all the social media sites. Ranveer Singh tweeted, "I couldn't get my eyes off her in this song either! #BajiraoMastani." Along with the tweet, the actor also posted a screenshot of Deepika in heavy attire, which she wore in the song.

Bajirao Mastani was made with a budget of $18 million. The film was produced under Sanjay Leela's SLB Production and is distributed by Eros Entertainment.

According to International Business Times, in the upcoming epic romantic Bajirao Mastani, Ranveer Singh will portray the role of Baji Rao I and Deepika Padukone will portray the role of Baji Rao's second wife, Mastani. The film will also star Quantico star Priyanka Chopra, who will play the role of Bajirao's first wife, Kashibai.

Bajirao Mastani is Ravneer and Deepika's second film with Indian filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali after 2013 movie, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, an Indian adaptation of Shakespeare's classic Romeo and Juliet.

According to Indian Express, Bajirao Mastani is slated to release on Dec. 18. The film is going to face very tough competition from Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale, which is also scheduled to release on the same date. The rom-com Dilwale will feature Bollywood's most loved couple, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol who last worked together in My Name is Khan.
