Republican presidential candidate Jeb(!) Bush is no stranger to WTF moments. Whether it be that time he apparently tried making himself taller than other candidates or when his brother, former President George W. Bush, just came out and said he's not a fan of fellow presidential hopeful Ted Cruz, it seems that Bush has had his moments of omg, did that just happen? Well, now he's done it again when talking about Supergirl star Melissa Benoist.
Bush was recently speaking at the College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas. During his Q&A, he was asked who his favorite superhero was. To that, he admitted that he loves the "old-school guys, like Batman."
Of course, being that he's 62, our guess is that he's speaking about Adam West's Batman. Which, still, is cool. Or maybe Michael Keaton's. Either way, while that was all fine and good – after all, Batman is pretty wonderful – it was his next answer that had the Internet on fire.
"I saw that there's a– Supergirl is on TV. I saw that when I was working out this morning," he said. "I saw that there was an ad promoting Supergirl. She looked kind of, she looked pretty hot."
And, well, as weird as it may be, he's not wrong...
So proud to share #Supergirl with you all today!

See?
Anyway, Bush of course meant no harm by the comment; it was just an answer to the question posed. So, really, who cares?
Oh, and here's that moment Bush tried making himself taller than the candidates.
What?!? Okay, that was odd.
So, thoughts?
For the record, Supergirl premieres Monday, Oct. 26 at 8:30 p.m. on CBS.
