Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon has been award the Harvard Lampoon's "Emperor of Comedy" award. The crowning went down this past Saturday and took Fallon on a comedic chariot throughout Harvard Square up to the steps of the Harvard Lampoon building located in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Fallon was reportedly given the "nation's oldest humor magazine's Elmer Award for Excellence in Humor," according to Gossip Cop.

While accepting his award, the comedian told the crowd that he was thrilled to be at the ceremony and deeply "honored" to have been considered for the title. The publication notes that he joked about the traffic around town due to his arrival, and explained, "It's just so hard to get an Uber this time of night, so I figured a chariot is best."

Fallon joins the likes of Jay Leno, Robin Williams, and more famed comedians who have received the award. His, however, is this first one delivered in this century.

The Harvard Lampoon has been a staple in the comedy community for decades, housing alumni such as Conan O'Brien, a number of The Simpsons writers, The Office's B.J. Novak, and so many more.
